NOTICE of OFFICIAL JUDGEMENT, ELF CLAN COUNCIL
|
in the matter of: TIGGS BEAUMONT and ElvenDeep sim
|
|
Note: This information is made public due to the very public slanders performed by this person upon
the Eldars of Elf Clan, the Elf Clan Council and members of this group. Many members have
requested further information in these events. Tiggs Beaumont has not seen fit to respect the
privacy or rights of others. Therefore this information is here presented for examination by all, as a
prime example of the consequences of her intentional attacks against the members of Elf Clan.
|
|
Short summary: July 2007 a new member came to Second Life and joined Elf Clan. Up front,
Tiggs Beaumont seemed enthusiastic and friendly, the friend of two of our most active members.
When she asked to join a sim to our lands, after much serious consideration and discussion, such
was granted. She agreed to conduct that sim strictly according to the Elf Clan Charter, Elf Clan
policies and the directives of the Eldars, in return for which the sim was listed and supported as an
official Elf Clan sim.
|
|
Shortly after purchasing and joining that sim to our lands, Tiggs began working actively against the
Eldars, breaking policy after policy. After being repeatedly cautioned and warned by numerous
people (including both Eldars, her best friend and several Greeters), she was finally banished from
Elf Clan. Because she was a sim owner, the unprecedented action was taken of calling an Elf Clan
Council meeting, where all seven members of the Council discussed what to do regarding her
activities. Tiggs was invited to sit in on the Council discussion, but treated that meeting with the
same disrespect in which she had conducted herself to that point. The end result was a unanimous
judgement against her on twelve major points of abuse of group membership. In addition to her
banishment, her sim was removed as an Elf Clan sim.
|
|
Immediately thereafter she began a smear campaign against the Founder of the group, Wayfinder
Wishbringer-- a campaign which included distribution of falsified claims and documentation. She
was assisted in such by others who seem to thrive in drama, politics and disruption (as most are
aware, Second Life has no shortage of such people). Her tactics require factual response-- thus
this account.
|
|
To those who have come across Tiggs' statements and "documentation"... please be aware that
some people are very good at politics and propaganda. Propaganda works, or it would not be
used. A convincing, charismatic nature does not mean they are right, nor honest. Please be
cautious of readily swallowing such claims. Two primary things to remember are this:
|
|
1. A total of ten people (seven Council members and three witnesses) of varying personalities and
different walks of life voted unanimously against Tiggs in these matters on all twelve charges
brought against her. There was not a single dissenting vote in any issue.
|
|
2. Sims are very valuable. Only the worst of abuse would bring about removal of an entire land from
this group. Tiggs and her sim were only removed after all other efforts had failed, and after her
abusive nature could no longer be ignored.
|
|
No matter what claims are made, what falsified "documentation" is distributed, or how convincing
this person may seem, the above two facts remain. No one should be duped into thinking Tiggs
was an innocent, abused party in these matters or that anyone else was to blame in these issues.
Her dishonor is of her own doing.
|
|
--End of summary--
|
|
|
If you are not interested in the details regarding such things, we commend you. No need to
read further. If you have been alarmed by claims you have heard, the following document
presents the details in this case.
|
|
This information is presented as factually as possible, with additional commentary to help members
understand the principles behind the decisions. As always, anyone not interested in drama and who
does not listen to slander and propaganda from any source, may feel comfortable in skipping this
entirely. But for those who wish to know what happened and why certain decisions were made,
detailed account follows as was promised when these things came to public knowledge.
|
|
In all of this, we would encourage all members of SL to remember that we are supposed to be adults
who think and behave in a mature manner, not constantly caught up in childish drama games. These
issues are not "RP", nor are they minor. A member of this group intentionally betrayed her closest
friends and all trust that was placed in her. There is nothing fanciful about such things, nor cute, nor
respectable.
|
|
It was once Elf Clan policy to keep such things out of the public knowledge. This policy was met
negatively by those who claimed we were "keeping our members in the dark". Now our policy is to
make such things public if the offending members have gone public with their activities. This causes
upset in some who claim this is "public drama" of itself. As we obviously cannot please all the
people all the time, Elf Clan shall take the course that best defends our group against public
slander... that of public factual response to such slander, making known the truth regarding the
issues. Those who are against such may simply skip reading the following. There is nothing wrong
with ignoring these things entirely (on both sides of the issue). Such decision will not hamper your
enjoyment of Elf Clan and is probably the best decision overall. But for those who are concerned
with these issues and are alarmed by the claims of this ex-member, the facts are presented below.
|
|
Tiggs has claimed that the vote went against her because "Wayfinder is a tyrant" and "the Council
members are afraid of him". Let it be known that all one has to do is speak to those Council
members, Peter Lioncourt or Wayfinder himself to learn the truth. Understand that at first Tiggs
attacked Eldar Lioncourt. When Wayfinder failed to accept her slanders against Peter, Tiggs turned
against Wayfinder himself, trying to influence the Council. When she failed to do that, her next step
was to turn against the entire Counsel, slander their courage and honor, claim Wayfinder is a
"tyrant" and that both Peter and the Council bows to his whims.
|
|
Let members not be so gullible as to believe such spurious claims. Tiggs suffered the
consequences of her own abusive actions, nothing more, nothing less and now strives to blame
others for the consequences of her actions. It is as simple as that, as the following information will
detail.
|
|
October 14, 2007, the Elf Clan Council met in an Official, closed session to determine the course of
action to be taken in the case of ex-member Tiggs Beaumont. Presented before the Council were
eleven major charges of intentional misconduct against the Elf Clan Charter, including refusal to
follow Elf Clan Policies and Official Eldar Directives. The session was closed to the general public
for two reasons:
|
|
1) For the sake of privacy of individual members involved in this case
|
2) To limit disruption by members with no knowledge of the situation or the charges involved and as
far as possible, remove "drama" from the procedure.
|
|
Put simply, this matter was under the authority of the Elf Clan Council and was no one else's
business.
|
|
LET IT BE KNOWN: There was no question as to whether or not Tiggs Beaumont was guilty of
these charges. There were numerous eye-witnesses to her deeds, including both Eldars, several
Greeters and three additional witnesses. There was also an abundance of documentation, including
statements by Tiggs herself that left no doubt as to her attitute and disrespect toward the Eldars, the
Charter and Elf Clan policies.
|
|
The purpose of the Council was to allow Tiggs Beaumont to present her reasons for such activities
and attitudes. Of primary intent was to allow her chance to be made aware, before the Council itself,
that her actions were unacceptable in this group and allow her opportunity to alter negative attitutes
(to speak plainly: grant her one last chance to "clean up her act" before the Council was forced to
take predictable and necessary action).
|
|
Rather than appreciating such opportunity, she used the occasion of that meeting to commit yet one
more act of disrespect, this time against the Council itself. As consequence of her actions and the
actions of her associates, decision was for verification of ban for herself as well as the banishment
of two other Elf Clan members who joined her in evincing equally disrespectful and abusive
attitudes.
|
|
The details and reasons for those charges follow:
|
|
For consideration by the Elf Clan Council, the following charges are brought against Tiggs
Beaumont and her operation of the sim ElvenDeep.
|
|
LIST OF PERSONAL OFFENSES AGAINST MEMBERS OF ELF CLAN
|
1. The unwarranted and unauthorized destruction of the home of Greeter Kneeya Merlin. (a)
|
|
2. Turning against the authority of Eldar Peter Lioncourt and slandering him by claiming that he
removed friendship status with her instead of she herself. Betrayed Elf Clan principles of respect
and friendship with both Peter and Brianna Lioncourt by betraying their trust in her. (b)
|
|
3. Malicious revealing of private member information, against the laws of both Elf Clan and
(arguably) against the SL TOS. (c)
|
|
LIST OF OFFENSES AGAINST THE GROUP OF ELF CLAN, ELDARS, CHARTER and
GROUP POLICIES
|
|
4. Visited Elf Circle and offered to its founder the Official Symbol of Elf Clan friendship, the Leaf of
Lorien, knowing that such person had been banished from these groups and lands for treachery to
Elf Clan. (d)
|
|
5. Removal of the Official Elf Clan Ban list from ElvenDeep, without consulting or requesting
permission of the Eldars. Refusal to reinstate that ban list when given an Official Directive by the
Eldars. (e)
|
|
6. Repeated statements that she "follows no one" but is "Tiggs". Repeated and consistent failure to
recognize the authority of the Eldars in Elf Clan, and refusal to follow established Official Elf Clan
Policies, against her oath and agreement with Elf Clan upon being allowed to connect her sim to
these lands. (f)
|
|
7. Disrupted a Greeters Meeting, despite several warnings of cessation from both Eldar Wayfinder
Wishbringer and from experienced Greeters. Witnessed by several members attending the
meeting. She followed such activity by storming out of the meeting, declaring she would no longer
be a Greeter. (While that was her decision to make, such conduct at a group meeting shows lack of
respect for both the presiding Eldar and others in attendance.)
|
|
8. Opened a new fantasy group in direct competition to the newly formed and authorized Fantasy
Foundation. Did so without consulting the Eldars or informing anyone of that step, and without
regard of the impact of that action on Elf Clan or the Fantasy Foundation and the members thereof.
(g)
|
|
9. Intentionally ignored two Official Directives from the Eldars, refusing to honor the Eldars with a
reply. Admitted later that she did receive the notices, but refused comment on why she ignored
them.
|
|
10. Removal of the Eldars and Greeters from Sim Estate Management, thereby breaking her
agreement with Elf Clan. In so doing, she automatically and instantly severed ElvenDeep's status as
an Elf Clan sim. (h)
|
|
11. After being banned from Elf Clan and these lands, trespassed on the Elf Clan IM channel and
refused to exit when directed to do so by Founder Wayfinder Wishbringer. Used the IM to perform
slanderous and drama-filled accusations and only left when demanded to do so by several irritated
members. (That she took such action following her banning is indication that even after such
consequences, she remained unremorseful and continued to retain her disrespect and disregard for
group authority.)
|
|
12. Rebelling against and disrespecting the authority and reputation of the Elf Clan Council during
an Official Council Meeting. (i)
|
|
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
|
|
(a) While Tiggs claims she destroyed the member's home because "rent was late", she had already
been notified that payment had been ordered and was pending through PayPal (in fact, the transfer
came in the very next day). Her response was to callously destroy a custom build and home that
was several weeks in the making. That this was done to an Elf Clan Greeter, one who spends time
and effort promoting and protecting these lands, increases the offense against this group. Such
was a callous and dishonorable act, going directly against the Elf Clan Charter requirements of
"Friendship" and "Respect". Tiggs did so without prior notice to the member and without consulting
the Eldars, showing disrespect for their position and insistance on running "her sim" under her own
authority, contrary to her vows to this group. Even when confronted later by the Founder of Elf Clan,
she continued to insist on her 'right to run her sim as she pleased', in complete disregard for Elf Clan
authority, ethics and honor. At that time, Elf Clan support of "her" sim ceased and Greeters were
requested to offer her no further assistance.
|
|
(b) From Wayfinder Wishbringer, In the matter of slander against Peter Lioncourt:
|
|
Tiggs claimed it was Peter that cancelled her friendship status. He states she did so. While
cancellation of friendship is a common thing and seemingly of little significance, in this case it is not.
Tiggs was an Elf Clan sim holder. She tried to use the claim that Peter had removed her friendship
status as grounds for disrespecting his position as Eldar. Such leads to the conclusion that she was
intentionally slandering him to cover her own misdeeds and was trying to divide the Eldars. When
that plan failed, she then decided on a different method and attacked the other Eldar instead,
intentionally trying to turn members of Elf Clan against the group Founder.
|
|
I have known Peter Lioncourt for almost 3 years. In that entire time I have never once known him to
be accused of falsehood, do something remotely dishonorable, or even lose his temper. In the short
time I have known Tiggs Beaumont I have seen her repeatedly involved in all three offenses. I have
seen her intentionally misrepresent and skew recount of events, go back on her word, ignore facts
and outright lie about matters, and even intentionally target me as a public scapegoat on which to
blame her being banned from this group. There is no doubt in my mind as to the truth of who
cancelled friendship status. No one is infallible, not even the Eldars, but I shall not be so gullible as
to believe the claims of Tiggs Beaumont over the stated word of Eldar and A'Maelamin Peter
Lioncourt.
|
|
(c) Merchants and Group leaders often use Alts so that they can enjoy Second Life without being
constantly inundated with IMs. Regular members use alts to play different roles. This is allowed by
Linden Lab and is very commonplace. Their own statistics reveal that 33% of the avatars on
Second Life are known to be Alts. It is nearly impossible to enjoy SL on a personal basis while in
the role of merchant, Eldar or Group Founder, due to the constant deluge of demands for information
and assistance. No one is required by either TOS or even ethics to reveal their alt identities to other
members. In maliciously breaking oath and trust in such a manner, no matter what her
rationalizations and claims, Tiggs Beaumont maliciously and willfully betrayed personal trust. Elf
Clan considers such action to be not only extremely dishonorable, but a breach of SL TOS
(revealing of private information), and thus subject to banishment.
|
|
As a note: LL's interpretation of the TOS seems to vary according to which employee one is
speaking to at the moment, as well as LL's current whims. Elf Clan judges breach of TOS according
to actual written policy of the TOS, not LL employee random interpretation of such. Tiggs was made
privvy to private information, under oath to hold such confidential, then intentionally breached that
trust and her word for no reason than sheer malice. For such, she was found guilty of before this
Council of breaking all three Elf Clan core principles of Honor, Respect and Friendship.
|
|
(d) In her visit and actions, Tiggs gave the impression of representing Elf Clan itself in a gesture of
peace, despite advice from Eldar Peter Lioncourt to "be careful" during her visit. Despite her
claims, she had not been authorized as an ambassador. She later claimed that she did not know
the significance of our group symbol, but eyewitness testimony and the use of that symbol on her
own builds belies that claim. Every leaf comes with a notecard of explanation as to its importance to
this group-- a concept which to this day Tiggs continues to disrespect.
|
|
While this matter in itself could have been accepted as an error in judgement due to
overenthusiastic nature, the highly disrespectful and arrogant attitude displayed toward both Eldars
thereafter was neither tolerable nor excusable.
|
|
(e) The Official Ban List contains the names of four of Elf Clan's most notorious slanderers and
enemies and was instituted on ElvenDeep the day of its opening. For Tiggs to personally decide to
override such was not her right under her agreement as an Official Elf Clan sim holder. The
impression it gave to such people was contrary to the harmony of Elf Clan and was damaging to the
upholding of Elf Clan policies. She ignored the decision of both Eldars in this matter. She was told
at that time that failure to comply with official policy would have serious consequences. She ignored
such warning. She later claimed she did not know of that ban list, did not know who should be on it
and did not know how to add people to the ban list. Such claim was found to be fraudulent. Her
removal of the ban list indicated she knew of its existence. She has been witnessed to claim that
"her sim" is not required to ban people she herself does not know. Such statement indicated she
was aware of that list and intentionally flaunted Elf Clan Policy in this matter, then tried to cover her
tracks by claiming ignorance. As was explained to her, if she didn't know what the ban list was or
how to reinstate it, all she had to do was ask the Eldars. Even after being issued Official Written
Directive to reinstate that list, she refused to do so.
|
|
(f) Tiggs was not asked to purchase a sim and join it to Elf Clan. She requested permission to do
so, claiming such to be for the good of the members of Elf Clan. Prior to even purchasing that sim,
she agreed that if she were allowed to join it to our lands, it would be conducted strictly according to
Elf Clan Policy and by the authority and directives of the Eldars. She did not stick to that oath. She
deeded the sim to Elf Clan, then soon thereafter tried to run it according to her own policies, directly
against the authority of the Eldars and Elf Clan Policy. Shortly after opening her sim she requested
to become an Eldar of the group. Shortly after such was denied, she began turning against the
authority of the Eldars. So whether her opening her sim was intended 'for the good of the members
of Elf Clan' or was a ploy to buy status and power in the group was a major concern.
|
|
She did not have to join her sim to Elf Clan lands. Once she agreed to uphold Elf Clan policies and
joined that sim to our Group, she was bound by oath and honor to uphold her word-- and Group
Policies.
|
|
(g) While it was Tiggs' right to open any group she wishes, doing so without consideration of the
impact upon Elf Clan and associated groups is contrary to our principles of honor, respect and
friendship. It was contrary to the concept of loyalty to this group as a sim holder. Opening the group
was not the issue. The issue was total disregard for the welfare of Elf Clan and associate groups,
and her self-focused and disrespectful attitude when the matter was brought to her attention,
insisting on her "right" to open any group she wishes and refusing to recognize her vowed
obligations toward Elf Clan (basically, an "I can do whatever I want to do" attitude, regardless of its
effect on the group). She was indeed whatever she wants to-- if she wished to remove herself and
her sim from Elf Clan. While she remaind simholder of an Official Elf Clan sim, she was bound by
honor to look out for the interests of Elf Clan and its members, in all her activities, rather than
competing directly against group goals. Again the desire for power was found apparent; rather than
following Elf Clan's efforts in such, she opened her own group in direct competition to that goal, thus
proving herself unsupportive of and breaking her vows to Elf Clan. This again has nothing to do with
"RP" or user rights. It had to do with an action of intentional rebellion against group administration.
|
|
(h) Related to Charge 5, it is difficult to believe that someone who can figure out how to remove
several names from Estate Management tools would be totally unaware of how to manage the
Official Ban List, which operates identically. Such claim is again, found to be false.
|
|
(i) The meeting of the Elf Clan Council might be likened to RL court, with pre-court meeting of
involved parties and of the Council itself, and is Elf Clan's most formal procedure.
|
|
If Tiggs Beaumont had wished to have "representatives" present, she had plenty of advanced
notice, time and opportunity to petition for such. She did not. Even at the Council meeting, she
could have entered when invited, requested of the Council to bring in representatives and witnesses,
and stated her reasons for such (as would be done in RL court).
|
|
Instead of respectfully and honorably doing so, she blew into the Council chamber with an obviously
arrogant air, and without word or request immediately teleported three uninvolved members, to a
meeting in which all of Elf Clan had already been informed was a closed hearing. All three of these
"representatives" were aware this was a closed meeting. Instead of honoring Elf Clan policy and
respecting the decision of the Council, they followed the instructions of someone who had already
been banned from this group.
|
|
When they were given a direct order by both the presiding Eldar and Council members to leave,
they disrespectfully and with extreme arrogance refused. As further evidence of their disrespect,
one "representative" (Jamie Cheeky) was so abusive in IMs that he was immediately bannished
from these lands. Without hearing a single word from the Council itself (other than telling her she ws
disrespecting and disrupting those procedings) Tiggs herself immediately left in a flash of
arrogance and insult, accusing the Council of being a 'Kangaroo Court'. In doing so, she added a
twelfth charge to her list of intentional abuses.
|
|
The two other members were later courteously invited back before the Council. Of these, Arth
Karas remained respectful but claimed innocence in such matters, stating that he was invited by
Tiggs to merely act as "witness" and not representative. (It is noted however, that he had been
made aware it was a closed meeting and chose to enter the Chamber anyway. Such disregard of
policy was noted, but excused in this instance due to his respectful attitude). Celty Westwick
however, provided no opportunity for the Council to even speak. He immediately evinced extremely
hostile and disrespectful attitude and went so far as to infer actual threat upon the Council and this
group. For such attitude, he was permanently banished from this group and lands. Arth Karas
remains a member of this group. Tiggs Beamont does not, as stated having added an additional
offense to to the prior eleven.
|
|
The above are factual retelling of the events as they happened.

|
COMMENTARY FROM GROUP FOUNDER WAYFINDER WISHBRINGER:
|
People cannot buy prestige, honor or position in Elf Clan, certainly not by renting land or adjoining a
sim to these lands. Owning a sim can without doubt bring one appreciation and recognition for
group support and can bring one involvement in the inner workings of the group. It does not "buy"
one's way to being Eldar or to other Title, nor does it buy respect when complete disrespect for our
group and policies is exhibited.
|
|
Tiggs Beaumont came to Elf Clan and requested permission to purchase a sim and join it to our
group lands. She vowed to operate that sim strictly according to Elf Clan Policies and Eldar
Directives. She broke her word, repeatedly and intentionally. She was found guilty of all 12
charges, hands down, by ten people. Her sim, a valuable property to this group, was deemed
necessary to forcibly remove from these lands (for she did not have the honor even to keep her word
and remove it herself). That would only be done if Tiggs herself were deemed an utmost threat to
the harmony and peace of this group. Anyone who would believe Tiggs' claims otherwise certainly
does not have the honor and sensibility to be a member of Elf Clan. We expect greater maturity of
our members.
|
|
The decision of the Elf Clan Council should be unquestionable by anyone claiming to be a member
of Elf Clan. "Due process of law" according to the rules of this group was followed, and quite fairly I
might add. Peter and I as Eldars had full authority to make such decision on our own, without calling
a Council meeting. In fact, if Peter himself had made the decision to banish her and remove her
land, I would have supported his decision as Eldar; he has been granted such authority and I take
such grants very seriously. Neither he nor I used that authority. Tiggs was necessarily banned
herself as we would ban any abusive member, but then out of respect for her position as sim owner
and the potential effects upon Elf Clan, provision was made for a Council hearing-- the first of such
in the history of this group. That we held a Council meeting at all should be strong indication of our
bending over backwards to do the right thing in this case.
|
|
Had Tiggs not agreed to follow Elf Clan policy and had she not joined that sim to our lands, she
would have had every right to run it as she saw fit. But so long as ElvenDeep was Officially part of
these lands, she was required to keep her word to operate it according to Elf Clan Policies. She not
only broke her word, she intentionally betrayed the very people who had befriended her and
introduced her to Second Life just two months prior, and continued in that course of action despite
all attempts to steer her back on the road of honor and respect. Bottom line, she betrayed her
friends, those who trusted her, and Elf Clan itself. There is absolutely no doubt she did not belong in
this group. She showed no love for Elf Clan, its members, the Eldars or the Council and any claims
by herself otherwise are evidenced by her activities to be fraudulent.
|
|
If she changed her mind and decided she didn't want to follow Elf Clan Policies, then she had the
option of taking her sim elsewhere. She paid for it; it was hers to do with as she wished. But
instead of taking that option, she rejected group policies one after another. When approached
regarding such, she began claiming that the Eldars were liars and tyrants. When evidence against
her became irrefutable and witnesses to her acts grew in number, she claimed she didn't
understand the rules and that they weren't plainly stated... but continued with the same actions and
attitudes. When she was called before the Elf Clan Council to answer for eleven major charges of
rebellion against group policy, the claim was then made that the entire Elf Clan Council was abusive
and unfair. When the unanimous decision of that respected group was released, she then focused
her attentions on me, claiming I myself was a tyrant and the Council members were all to cowardly to
stand up to my decisions. To this I reply: all seven members plus three witnesses? Not an ounce of
honor or backbone in any of them? Give me a break. Tiggs' is the typical course of the typical
problem member: blame everyone else and if that fails, pick a specific target to blame. Such
attitude is nothing new to SL.
|
|
That Tiggs is very good at politics and propaganda is undeniable. Even Council members
remarked at how convincing she could be and how they would easily be convinced by her if they had
not been personal eyewitnesses the truth of these matters. History shows a long list of higly
charismatic, convincing and influential liars. Sorry to be so blunt, but Tiggs has made no effort to be
less blunt. The facts are as they stand and as Founder of Elf Clan, I feel obligated to present these
facts without withholding information.
|
|
To make her claims appear valid, Tiggs enlisted people to serve as "representatives", even though
those people had no knowledge or experience in the case and had already exhibited negative
attitudes, people who somewhere in reading (or not reading) our Group Charter failed to
understand how this Elven Fantasy group operates. They felt it proper to stand around shouting
demands for "democratic order" and "due process of law". They proved themselves to not be Elf
Clan in demeanor, and reaped the consequences of their highly disrespectful attitude. The one
person who did evidence respect, was excused for any error in judgement. That is how Elf Clan
works. We don't ban people for making mistakes. People get themselves banned for repeatedly
abusive behavior.
|
|
The Charter states "zero tolerance" for abusive individuals. Tiggs Beaumont, Jamie Cheeky and
Celtie Westwick should have paid attention, and show more respect for this group and its members.
|
|
Tiggs was given many opportunities to alter her self-destructive and abusive course, by many
people. She ignored all advice, refused all official directives, and increased her abusive behavior.
Her final display was before the Elf Clan Council itself, driving the final nail in her own coffin. She
was removed from this group and her land lost its recognition as an Official Elf Clan sim. If anyone
thinks anyone did this out of some sort of "spite" or "malice" against Tiggs, in my "real life" opinion
such person needs to get a flipping clue.
|
|
Even in all this, seeing her position in Elf Clan crumble before her, seeing her friends strongly
disapprove her actions one after another, did she learn from this, change her attitude and turn
around? No. It was everyone's fault but hers. The Council treated her unfairly. Everyone was lying
about her. The Eldars were tyrants.
|
|
No matter how skilled a person may be at misrepresenting the facts and propaganda, no matter
how "logical" she may make things sound by intentionally hiding the real facts or outright lying... it's
simply DRAMA. Drama is strictly forbidden in this group, as it is in most groups.
|
|
Neither Tiggs nor anyone else has right to come to this group and try to dictate how it is run. She
regularly abused members of this group, even going so far as to destroy the home of an Elf Clan
Greeter. The consequences should therefore be of no great surprise. It should also be of no
surprise that she presented one face to the public and another behind the scenes. Whitewashing
accompanied by backstabbing is typical drama-queen behavior. It is not the first time Elf Clan has
dealt with such people. We simply don't tolerate such things here.
|
|
Elf Clan is for honorable, respectful, friendly people, not those who evince the opposite traits.
Several trouble-makers have been removed from the group. To this day they continue to cop an
attitude, evidencing no repentance or remorse whatsoever. That's their problem, not ours.
|
|
Elf Clan is back down to two sims, and operating splendidly. New people are joining every day.
The group interestingly enough, continues to grow, even without the presence of these abusive
members. Go figure. ; )

|
|
Addendum: Propaganda, Slander and Smear Campaigns
|
Since the Council meeting, Tiggs has seen fit to attempt to sway popular opinion by releasing
supposed "documentation" of meetings. Propaganda is the primary tool of the unethical. As a
member of another Elven group stated, "I hate smear campaigns".
|
|
Anyone who believes such documentation to be unedited, unbiased and factually presented has
apparently failed to note the that Tiggs has been found guilty--by the Elf Clan Council-- of repeated
deception, lies and fraud in dealing with Elf Clan and its Eldars. To believe that such attitude and
methods would vanish, that she would not apply such dishonesty to written documents, that she
would not withhold vital information, would be most naive.
|
|
Paying attention to the claims and "documentation" of such a person, as if such held any honorable
purpose or valid information-- would be playing right into her hands-- and very gullible.
|
|
To site one example: following the Council meeting Tiggs widely distributed a document claiming
she was not allowed into the Council Chambers "until 6:05". Since the Council met at 2pm, her
statement makes it appear the Council met for some 4 hours prior to inviting her to appear.
However, Council records state that Tiggs was called at exactly 3pm-- an interesting discrepency
between her claims and factual evidence.
|
|
Now whether Tiggs' claim is an intentional deception on her part, or a simple failure to recognize SL
time as opposed to her local time, such misrepresentation of fact is consistent and common to
Tiggs Beaumont's dealings with Elf Clan and the Eldars. Her claims misrepresent the facts.
|
|
The reason Tiggs was not immediately called before the Council is simple: as stated above, the
Council did not meet to judge whether or not Tiggs was "guilty". The extreme abundance of
evidence and eye-witnesses left no doubt in the mind of any Council member as to her attitude and
intentions. The matter being considered was what actions the Council as a whole deemed
necessary... and what level of mercy the Council was willing to extend to her if she showed any
evidence of remorse for actions. However, such proved to be a moot point. As stated above... she
showed no regret, remorse or even respect for the Council.
|
|
The facts however, contrary to her cliams, is that the Council met for one hour prior to inviting her to
testify in her behalf, not four as her "documentation" portrays.
|
|
In the same document she further claimed that people she chose as "representatives" were
immediately told to leave the Council Chambers. Such claims were a gross omission of vital
inforrmation, as shown above. Had that meeting been a real life court, those people would have
likely spent the next few days in jail on charges of contempt.
|
|
These facts however, were somehow ommitted in the "documentation" Tiggs chose to distribute in
her further attacks against Elf Clan and its leaders. That she was eagerly joined in these actions by
RodneyLee Jessop (a Council member of Elf Circle with a long history of slander-drama against Elf
Clan) adds additional shame and dishonor to such activities.
|
|
So to those who are allowing themselves to be caught up in the drama created by this individual...
be aware: drama queens abound in Second Life and unlike the Eldars of Elf Clan and the Elf Clan
Council, they have no sense of ethics to prevent them from lying and deceiving and using every tool
at their disposal to try and make themselves seem like the innocent, injured party. The easily-
mislead are their greatest asset. No one should play the fool for such people.
|
|
Tiggs Beaumont was found guilty of twelve major counts of abuse against Elf Clan, including
intentional slander, open disrespect for and rebellion against the Eldars, destruction of private
property, refusal to follow group policy, and intent to harm Elf Clan itself, as detailed above. She
was adjudged such unanimously by ten people. Anyone gullible enough to believe her claims of
"Kangaroo Court", or who pays atttention to the fraudulent documentation she has been distributing,
need not consider themselves a part of this group, for they truly do not grasp the concept of honor
upon which Elf Clan is based. In Elf Clan honor isn't just an RP facade: it's our most fundamental
group law.
|
|
Tiggs' apparent intent at this point is to do as much damage to Elf Clan as possible and to draw
away as many members as she possibly can. She can only do so if people are foolish enough to
swallow her propaganda. Let there be no question: after reading this account, those who choose to
side with such a person have no place in this group.
|
|
Tiggs Beaumont as of this writing, has been a member of Second Life for a little over three months.
In that time, she has caused more disruption and has betrayed more friends than any degree of
"noob" can be allowed. She turned against the very people who brought her here from "THERE"
(another online virtual world), where she has caused similar drama-queen disruptions (a fact that
was unfortunately unknown to us when she applied for Elf Can membership). She was found guilty
on twelve counts before the entire Elf Clan Council, who deemed it necessary to remove both her
and her sim from this group. That was not a decision made lightly, or without extreme cause.
|
|
If you enjoy Elf Clan and have found this group to be peaceful and beautiful, realize there is a reason
for such: we do not allow members to dictate their personal whims and opinions upon others. Even
the Eldars follow the Elf Clan Charter. Tiggs has tried to make this appear that the group Founder /
Eldars / Council are evil, dictatorial tyrants (same old story. Drama queens never get tired of that
one). In truth, it was she who dictatorially tried to force her personal opinions upon this group. Let us
not be so blind as to believe every word that comes from the mouth of one who has behaved so
badly as to have her ENTIRE SIM removed from this group.
|
|
Be well, people... and be intelligent when dealing with such ones. If such people are ignored and
their claims exposed as the misinformation they are, they lose their primary source of power: gullible
people.

Elf Clan Censure of the activities of RodneyLee Jessop of Elf Circle
|
|
Elf Clan was making efforts through Eldar Peter Lioncourt (with Eldar Wayfinder Wishbringer's
agreement) to smooth out relations between our group and Elf Circle. During those negotiations,
Tiggs Beaumont enlisted Elf Circle Council member RodneyLee Jessop to assist her in a smear
campaign, knowing that RodneyLee has a long history of intentional abuse against Elf Clan.
|
|
This is interesting considering Tiggs claimed to be trying to work toward peace between these two
groups. That she would so quickly turn to using Elf Circle as a vehicle for attack against Elf Clan,
that she would intentionally take part in actions designed to further increase hostilities between
these respective groups and their officers, openly exposes her true nature and intent.
|
|
This by no means is censure against members of Elf Circle as a whole. As with most groups, Elf
Circle contains many honorable members, as well as many new ones who have no knowledge of the
history of that group. But if a group does not put policies into place to halt unethical actions within
their ranks, if their officers do not respect the officers of other groups, it is unlikely their members will
do so.
|
|
RodneyLee had no business becoming involved in the affairs of Tiggs Beaumont, especially in light
of the unanimous decision of the Elf Clan Council. Despite their history, Elf Clan does not "war" with
Elf Circle. We welcome Elf Circle members to our lands and treat them with hospitality and respect.
We do not submerse ourselves in "revenge tactics" or drama-based politics. This web post is a
necessary response to such activities. What Tiggs Beaumont and RodneyLee Jessop did was
malicious griefing. It was and is intentional attack upon a group by unethical and fraudulent
methods. Such is nothing new to Second Life.
|
|
The goal of Elf Clan is to provide our members a hospitable and friendly place in which to live and
play. Elf Clan is prospering. To the best of our ability we shall continue to offer our members a
"drama-free" zone by removing those who insist on drama, and having no dealings with groups that
support and enable such ones.
